 The party doesn't end there!

G is my best antique hunting partner.  Last week we found a large copper pitcher, fully green, for his outdoor kitchen, and a really precious five drawer dwarf dresser with dividers for my casa.  We are making future plans!  We bought lottery tickets and won $50 MXN on our $100 MXN investment.  We spend our time dreaming of creating a community garden filled with chickens, goats, and Non-GMO plants.  When his house is finished, I'm hiring a salsa instructor for a dance party on his terrace overlooking our entire neighborhood! 

I met J when he was traveling back to Merida via Cancun, after a two month stay in Sevilla, Spain.  J is a life long resident of Merida, travels to the U.S. for business, and knows everyone! Tomorrow we will spend an afternoon at a restored hacienda with an eco-park set off the beach.  After a lunch at the hacienda, Felipe, the owner, will give us a guided tour of the grounds.

Of course there is also time for the beach gals. Sunday we head to the symphony to hear guest harpist, Ruth Bennett, with a sumptuous Italian meal afterwards.  More music on Tuesday evening with my very lovely friend, The Queen.  Elizabeth, a violinist with the symphony and owner of Sac Nicite, has invited me to dinner and to hear a quartet at Hacienda Xcanatun.

Life is GOOD!
