Las Posadas December 16 -December 24
Las Posadas is celebrated starting in the middle of December. The torchlight procession reenacts Joseph and Mary searching for a place to spend the night before Christ was born, by parading their images from the churches around in the streets, accompanied by singers and musicians and lots of firecrackers.
